Privacy Policy

InstantClips ("we", "us") is a product of Instant Studio, Inc., a Delaware corporation (United States) that builds and operates the InstantStudio.ai platform and its AI content tools. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the account information you provide when signing in — via Google, Facebook or WeChat (name, email, profile picture), or with your email address for link or password sign-in. If you share your name and email before creating an account, we collect those too. We also collect the product links, images and descriptions you upload, usage data such as videos generated and credits consumed, and billing records for paid accounts (your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference — never your card details).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process video generation requests, manage your account, credits, subscriptions and payments, communicate service updates, and follow up about InstantClips. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with the service providers that operate the Service — cloud storage, AI video generation APIs, Stripe for payment processing, Google for analytics, Meta for advertising measurement, and the customer-management tools we use to follow up — each processing data under its own privacy terms, and otherwise only as required by law.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how the Service is used and to measure advertising, including events such as signing up or leaving your contact details. These tools set cookies and collect device and usage information. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use the providers' opt-out tools; the Service still works.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, and billing records as long as business records require. Uploaded images and generated videos may be deleted after 90 days of inactivity. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption and secure OAuth authentication. If you set a password we store only a salted hash of it, and payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — they never reach our servers.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us, and we will respond within 30 days. You do not have to wait for us to delete your account — see section 8, which you can do yourself.
8. Deleting Your Account and Data
You can delete your account yourself, at any time: open your account page and use "Delete my account" at the bottom. You will be asked to confirm, and deletion happens immediately. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first — we block deletion until then so that a cancelled card is not still being billed for an account that no longer exists.
Deleting removes your account, your brands, the products and product images you uploaded, every video generated from them, your credit history, your saved sign-in links and any access tokens you created for AI assistants. It cannot be undone, so download anything you want to keep first.
If you can't sign in, email support@instantclips.ai from the address on the account, with "Delete my account" as the subject. We will confirm and complete it within 30 days.
Two things are not removed. Stripe keeps its own record of any payment you made, because tax and accounting rules require it. And if you gave us your name and email before creating an account, that contact record is kept separately — we use it only to send our own updates about InstantClips, we don't sell it, and we don't pass it to other companies for their marketing. To stop those emails, email support@instantclips.ai with UNSUBSCRIBE as the subject and we will take you off the list.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the Service.
